01. DPS Department Manager
Permanent – Core Shift – 8 AM to 4 PM

What you’ll be doing
In a retail world that’s evolving faster than ever, automation isn’t just a buzzword—it’s a game-changer. As our DPS (Dynamic Picking System Departmental Manager, you’ll be at the forefront of leading a large team day to day, ensure that customer service is at the forefront of mind at all times whilst delivery consistent levels of operational efficiency and performance across all your areas of remit.
This role is all about driving smarter, more efficient ways of working through automation, reducing waste activity and developing broad teams and creating and maintaining a “can do” culture in our organization.
Managing both Boots and agency colleague performance, absence and accuracy
You will also be required to own and lead multiple projects as part of your role with a constant mindset on continuous improvement.
Key responsibilities
To lead a team who are focused on maximising shelf availability & delivering the highest service level possible to stores and accurate receiving, picking & despatching of stock
• Manage performance of staff and achieve the throughputs in their functional area
• To control & manage budgets
• To ensure team members receive performance reviews
• To make short-term tactical decisions in the operation to overcome anything that may affect on service to stores or availability of products
• To link up with other Department Managers during the working day to ensure effective management of the warehouse
To maintain a handover from the off going shift, the preparation and delivery of pre-shift briefings & the co-ordination of activity and maintenance of a positive working relationship with the wider management team
• To implement short and medium operational plans within the warehouse
• To lead the Health & Safety and Shrink agenda with own team & operating area
• To ensure that a positive culture is created through effective communication, recognition and support also responsible for ensuring that the partnership process is supported & visible to the team
What you’ll need to have (our must-haves)

• Strong people leader with high standards
• Experience managing and motivating a large operational team including planning & organising, exposure to controlling costs and managing a budget.
• Experience working & knowledge of Supply Chain, warehouse processes and flows.
• Effective cross functional working & strong communication skills that are effective at all levels.
Support Team Leaders in developing themselves & their teams & managing performance issues that are fundamental to a successful operation.
• The ability to interpret high level data, forward thinking, drive & motivate teams to achieve results & help to create a culture that they are proud to work in.
It would be great if you also have
Good level of automation experience would be ideal
Proficient in MS office applications / Power BI etc
Ability to create high performing teams and succession for the future.

02.Team Leader – Repack
Team Leader – Repack
Contract: Permanent- Full time
Shift pattern: Rotating 6am-2pm/2pm-10pm – 37.5 hours – Full Time

What you’ll be doing
No two days are ever the same as an Inbound Team Leader. Reporting to the Department Manager you’ll manage the daily running of your inbound department. This will include leading and developing a team of colleagues.
Key responsibilities
• Customer focus that makes sure that we deliver the right products to the right place at the right time, achieved through accurate receiving, packing and despatching of stock at pace.
Create a positive ‘can do’ culture.
• Pre-empt any problems and take the appropriate action to deal with them.
• Lead and motivate a team of team members.
• Maximise individuals’ performance through coaching.
• Ensure that team members meet performance standards for quality, productivity, performance and attendance.
• Deliver budgeted productivity rates and indirect hours.
• Ensure the team are kept engaged and the delivery of team briefings.
Collate data for your team on agreed KPIs.
• Ensure operational compliance with all regulatory requirements, e.g. Health & Safety, security, product safety, maintenance, cleaning.
• Ensure that workflow is consistent during break times.
• Maintain an effective handover from the off-going shift and the preparation and delivery of pre-shift briefings

-2 years operational Warehouse leadership experience.
