Job Overview: 
We are seeking a highly qualified and dedicated registered nurse to strengthen our dynamic healthcare team. As a registered nurse, you will play a crucial role in providing expert care, implementing best practices, and improving the overall quality of patient care. Responsibilities

  • Basic and specialized treatment care, care planning and documentation.
  • Monitoring and treatment of patients in vascular and trauma surgery.
  • Support with all investigations in the department.
  • Preparation and follow-up care for diagnostic and therapeutic procedures.
  • Nursing care and support for patients in geriatrics.
    Close collaboration with the physiotherapy and occupational therapy team.
    Assistance with patient hygiene.
  • Digital planning and documentation of nursing care measures for our patients.
  • They are the first point of contact for relatives, doctors and therapists.

Experience

  • Completed 3-year nursing training or alternatively as a geriatric nurse (m/f/d).
  • Prior professional experience in a clinical setting is advantageous.
  • Service-oriented approach to our patients.
  • Strong team spirit and high level of commitment.
  • Commitment, reliability and a high degree of teamwork skills.
  • High social competence, sense of responsibility and motivation to take on new tasks.
  • Prior professional experience is an advantage, but not a requirement.
  • Proof of vaccinations or immunity according to the Infection Protection Act (e.g. measles).

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent; completion of a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) program is preferred.
  • B.Sc. Nursing or General Nursing and Midwifery (GNM) – required
  • Proven experience in the care of elderly people or similar population groups, preferably in a long-term care facility or assisted living area.
  • Knowledge of basic nursing procedures, medical terminology, and infection control.
  • Excellent communication skills at least at B2 level in German and the ability to interact effectively with residents, families and the care team.
  • A compassionate, patient and empathetic approach to elderly care.
  • Physical ability to assist with lifting, repositioning, and positioning residents when needed.
  • Safe handling of the electronic patient record and basic computer skills.
  • Flexibility to work in different shifts as needed, including evenings, weekends and holidays.
