Job Overview:
We are seeking a highly qualified and dedicated registered nurse to strengthen our dynamic healthcare team. Responsibilities
- Basic and specialized treatment care, care planning and documentation.
- Monitoring and treatment of patients in vascular and trauma surgery.
- Support with all investigations in the department.
- Preparation and follow-up care for diagnostic and therapeutic procedures.
- Nursing care and support for patients in geriatrics.
Close collaboration with the physiotherapy and occupational therapy team.
Assistance with patient hygiene. - Digital planning and documentation of nursing care measures for our patients.
- They are the first point of contact for relatives, doctors and therapists.
Experience
- Completed 3-year nursing training or alternatively as a geriatric nurse (m/f/d).
- Prior professional experience in a clinical setting is advantageous.
- Service-oriented approach to our patients.
- Strong team spirit and high level of commitment.
- Commitment, reliability and a high degree of teamwork skills.
- High social competence, sense of responsibility and motivation to take on new tasks.
- Prior professional experience is an advantage, but not a requirement.
- Proof of vaccinations or immunity according to the Infection Protection Act (e.g. measles).
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; completion of a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) program is preferred.
- B.Sc. Nursing or General Nursing and Midwifery (GNM) – required
- Proven experience in the care of elderly people or similar population groups, preferably in a long-term care facility or assisted living area.
- Knowledge of basic nursing procedures, medical terminology, and infection control.
- Excellent communication skills at least at B2 level in German and the ability to interact effectively with residents, families and the care team.
- A compassionate, patient and empathetic approach to elderly care.
- Physical ability to assist with lifting, repositioning, and positioning residents when needed.
- Safe handling of the electronic patient record and basic computer skills.
- Flexibility to work in different shifts as needed, including evenings, weekends and holidays.
