
Officially, Italy will formally introduce 497,550 open employment slots to foreigners under the new Decreto Flussi (2026 – 2028). Non-EU citizens will be allowed to apply under this national plan to get legal and seasonal as well as non-seasonal jobs in the major sectors like agriculture, tourism, construction, logistics, manufacturing and caregiving.
The three-year employment quota program provides international job seekers with an unbelievable opportunity to reside and work lawfully in Italy, acquire international experience, and establish a long-term career in Europe.





Italy will allocate 497,550 work permits in three years with the Decreto Flussi 2026-2028:
- 164,850 jobs in 2026
- 165,000 in 2027
- 167,700 in 2028
The programme includes seasonal (agriculture, tourism) and non-seasonal areas (construction, logistics, caregiving and manufacturing). Here the employers in Italy announce online applications by use of “Sportello Unico per l Immigrazione” system on specific official click-days.
After the employment offer is accepted, the foreign employees request a Type D Work Visa, arrive in Italy and get a work permit in Italy.

Eligibility Criteria
To apply to the job quota in Italy, 2026, one has to:
- Be a citizen of a non-EU country covered by the Decreto Flussi.
- Receive a valid job offer from an Italian employer who submits the application during official click-days.
- Be adult (18 years and above) and be in good condition to work.
- No criminal record and valid passport.
- In the case of self-employment: have professional licenses or evidence of funds, or business plan.
- Adhere to visa and immigration laws of Italy.
